12 ft Giant-Sized Skeleton with LifeEyes™ LCD Technology
Our 12 ft Giant-Sized Skeleton is the centerpiece of any Halloween display, standing taller than most single-story homes. This massive skeleton features our exclusive LifeEyes™ LCD technology—glowing eyes that track movement and change color—creating an unsettling gaze that follows trick-or-treaters up the walkway.
Designed for outdoor installation, the skeleton’s weather-resistant construction and posable joints let you customize the stance season after season. We engineered every detail for maximum impact: the ribcage spans nearly four feet across, the hands measure over two feet from wrist to fingertip, and the skull alone weighs more than fifteen pounds. Assembly takes approximately 90 minutes with two people, and the included ground stakes anchor securely in grass or can be weighted for concrete surfaces.
- Stands 12 feet tall (144 inches) when fully assembled
- LifeEyes™ LCD eyes with multiple color modes and motion tracking
- Posable shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, and knees with locking joints
- Weather-resistant PVC construction rated for outdoor use
- Includes ground stakes, assembly hardware, and AC adapter
Assembly & Installation

The skeleton ships in three main sections: legs and pelvis, torso and ribcage, and head and arms. We designed the connection points with reinforced sleeves that slide together and lock with included bolts—no tools beyond the provided hex wrench are necessary.
For grass installation, drive the four ground stakes through the foot platforms at a 45-degree angle. Each stake is 18 inches long and powder-coated to resist rust. If you’re installing on a patio or driveway, remove the stakes and use the pre-drilled weight holes in each foot platform; sandbags or concrete pavers work perfectly. The skeleton’s center of gravity sits low in the pelvis, so even in moderate wind it remains stable once properly anchored.
LifeEyes™ Technology & Light Modes

Our LifeEyes™ LCD panels sit behind the skeleton’s eye sockets and project animated pupils that follow motion within a 120-degree field of view. The system offers six color modes: classic white, icy blue, toxic green, ember orange, blood red, and color-cycle. Each mode can run in steady glow or slow pulse.
The motion-tracking sensor mounts inside the nasal cavity and has a detection range of approximately 25 feet. When someone approaches, the eyes shift to follow their movement for up to eight seconds before returning to center. You can disable motion tracking via the control box if you prefer static animation.
Posing & Display Options

Every major joint—shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees—features our ratcheting joint design with 15-degree increments. This gives you precise control over the skeleton’s pose without constant readjustment. Popular configurations include the classic reaching-forward stance, a ground-crawling pose (requires removing the leg stakes), and a seated position on porch steps.
The wrist joints rotate 360 degrees, letting you angle the hands to grip props like lanterns, garden tools, or oversized weapons. We’ve seen customers outfit their skeletons with pirate hats, top hats, witch hats, and even custom-sewn cloaks. The ribcage has enough interior space to house a small fog machine if you want to create a mist effect emanating from the chest cavity.

Questions About Our 12-Foot Skeleton
You’ll need a minimum clearance area of approximately 5 feet wide by 3 feet deep for the skeleton’s footprint, plus overhead clearance of at least 13 feet to account for the full assembled height and any arm poses that extend upward. The skeleton stands 12 feet tall in a neutral upright position. For maximum visual impact, we recommend positioning it at least 8-10 feet from the nearest viewing point so observers can take in the full height. If you’re installing on a porch or under an overhang, measure your clearance carefully—the top of the skull will reach 144 inches from ground level.
Yes, the skeleton is engineered for outdoor use and rated for sustained winds up to 25 mph when properly anchored with the included ground stakes. The UV-stabilized PVC frame and polypropylene joints resist moisture and temperature extremes from -10°F to 120°F. The LifeEyes™ control box has an IP65 water-resistance rating, meaning it can handle rain and splashing. We’ve tested units in simulated rainstorms with no electronic failures.
That said, we recommend unplugging the LifeEyes™ system during severe thunderstorms or high-wind events exceeding 30 mph as a safety precaution. If you live in an area with frequent extreme weather, consider adding supplemental anchoring such as sandbags on the foot platforms or tethering the upper torso to a nearby structure.
Assembly is straightforward and takes approximately 75-90 minutes with two people for first-time setup. The skeleton ships in three main sections that connect with reinforced sleeves and locking bolts—no additional tools are required beyond the included hex wrench. The instruction manual provides step-by-step photos, and we include a QR code for video tutorials.
The most physically demanding part is lifting the torso section onto the pelvis, which requires both people to stabilize the frame. Once you’ve assembled it one time, subsequent setup in following years typically takes about 45 minutes since you’ll be familiar with the connection points and cable routing.
The LifeEyes™ system offers six color modes: classic white, icy blue, toxic green, ember orange, blood red, and automatic color-cycle. Each color can run in steady-glow mode or slow-pulse mode. The LCD eyes also feature motion-tracking animation—when the sensor detects movement within 25 feet and a 120-degree field of view, the pupils shift to follow the person for approximately eight seconds before returning to center.
You can disable the motion tracking via a switch on the control box if you prefer static eyes. All modes and settings are controlled through buttons on the weatherproof control box, and you can change modes at any time without powering down the system.
Absolutely. Every major joint—shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, and knees—features our ratcheting mechanism with 15-degree increments, giving you precise control over the pose. The joints lock firmly and hold position throughout the season without sagging. Popular poses include the classic upright reaching stance, a ground-crawling position, a seated pose on porch steps, and various reaching or grasping configurations.
The wrist joints rotate 360 degrees, allowing you to position the hands to hold props like lanterns, tools, or weapons. Many customers change the pose annually to keep their display fresh. Because the joints are designed for repeated adjustment, you won’t wear them out by repositioning the skeleton multiple times.
Yes, the skeleton disassembles into its three main sections for compact storage. We include a heavy-duty storage bag with compartments for the legs, torso, and head/arms, plus a separate pocket for stakes and hardware. After Halloween, simply wipe down all sections with a damp cloth, allow them to dry completely, then pack into the bag.
The storage bag measures approximately 6 feet long by 2 feet wide, so it will fit in most garages, basements, or large closets. Store the skeleton indoors in a temperature-controlled space if possible to maximize the lifespan of the PVC and electronics. Proper storage ensures your skeleton will last for many seasons—we have customers still using skeletons they purchased four or five years ago.
Yes, the LifeEyes™ LCD eyes and motion-tracking sensor require standard 120V AC power. The included adapter has a 6-foot power cord, so you’ll need access to an outdoor-rated electrical outlet or a weatherproof extension cord. Power consumption is minimal at only 12 watts—less than a typical nightlight—so you can run the skeleton all evening without a noticeable impact on your electricity bill.
If you purchase the static version of our 12 ft Giant-Sized Skeleton without LifeEyes™ technology, no electrical connection is required. That model is ideal if you prefer a completely unpowered display or want to add your own custom lighting.
